When
it comes to illustration, I work in a variety of different modes. Most
of my time is spent
doing computer illustration. That is more or less the "day job".
I also do quite a bit of hand work
in the form of pencil sketches, acrylic and sometimes multimedia paintings.

Paintings.

Most
of the time, my preferred
method of Illustration is to paint.
My
usual working method
is to create a drawing,
usually in pencil, and then,
when approved by the client,
transfer it to illustration
board and render the work in
acrylics. On occasion I will
further this process with a
multimedia approach,
adding in collage elements,
charcoal or pastel, or
colored pencil as needed. |
Drawings.

My
drawings and sketches
are primarily in pencil. On
occasion though, I will work
in other elements such as
paint, charcoal, pastel,
graphite sticks, etc.
Sometimes
a combination of these
media produce an
interesting result. Drawing
is the key element in each
of my modes of working,
but in this gallery you will
find examples in which the
drawing is the end product
itself as well as a number
of sketches. |
Tech-tech-techno.

My
computer work starts
out as a drawing, and
more often than not,
ends up as a T-shirt
or sometimes as an ad.
These are usually done
for my day job.
I start out
with a rough pencil
sketch, and then ink
over the top of that.
It is then scanned &
colored in the computer. |
